At CES 2022, Google introduced at least 13 different new software features, such as projecting Android text App images on Chromebooks. Why does Google do this? Because it launched an action called Better Together, the outside world believed that Google wanted to catch up with the Apple ecosystem and engage in integration like Apple.
Perhaps the most interesting is the Fast Pair framework, which makes pairing Bluetooth headsets easier. This year, Google will also vigorously support the automatic switching function between devices, and it will be faster to pair with Android TV and GoogleTV. Because of Fast Pair, it will be easier to install new smart home devices through the upcoming Matter standard, which means it will be easier to add new smart light bulbs and door locks.
In the future, users will be able to use Wear OS 3 smartwatches to unlock paired Android phones or Chromebooks, and Apple Watch can already unlock iPhones. This feature will be launched in the next few months.
The new features introduced by Google will be launched later this year, some will be launched in a few weeks, some will be launched in a few months, and some will be launched later. HP, Acer, and Intel will cooperate with Google to support some Better Together functions in notebooks.
In the future Windows PC, users can use Fast Pair, text message synchronization, Nearby Share (more convenient to share files) functions. Google will also push GooglePlay games to Windows.
