Sony Interactive Entertainment President and CEO Jim Ryan announced at CES 2022 that 17 studios are currently making PS5 first-party games. Among these 17 studios, Nixxes Software, a manufacturer good at porting PC games, is among them. According to Jim Ryan, Nixxes Software will be responsible for porting PS games to PC.
It remains to be seen whether the studio will have its own original games or just assist Sony in porting PCs. Previously, official Jim Ryan said that PS studios are currently developing 25 exclusive PS5 games, half of which are new IPs, and look forward to Sony’s release of more information.
