Mozilla has released its first version update for 2022 — Firefox 96. Firefox 96 update is not large, mainly focused on performance optimization and security improvements. At present, Mozilla has not released the update log of Firefox 96, but users can go to the FTP server to download.

- This version has noticeable improvements in noise suppression and auto-grain control, and in addition, there are slight improvements in echo cancellation, giving you a better overall experience.
- Mozilla claims to have significantly reduced the load on the main thread.
- The Firefox browser will now enforce the cookie policy: ame-site=lax by default to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks.
