Google still has a few apps to update. Now it’s time for Google Messages for Android. A few days ago it became known that Google Messages is to receive a new app for Android and that there are a few innovations in it.
This now includes the tight link to Google Photos to be able to share new recordings more quickly. Videos are then not sent directly from your cloud as a file with the message, but as a link to Google Photos. The selection is possible directly in messages.

The side menu on the left edge of the screen is also new. Typically, Google removes this menu from most of its apps. Just not where it is really necessary.
