Samsung Galaxy S22+/S22 Ultra screen brightness up to 1750 nits

Recently, Samsung officially released three flagship phones, the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra. Among them, the Samsung Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra feature new and improved panels, while the Galaxy S22 retains the same 1000/1300 peak brightness levels as the Galaxy S21.

The brightness of the Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra models can reach 1750 nits , which is also the brightest mobile phone screen to date.

It’s important to note that this unprecedented “peak” brightness is only achievable under certain conditions, such as when auto-brightness is enabled. In manual mode, Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra users can experience up to 1200 nits of brightness.

Word has it that peak brightness that is too high won’t always guarantee optimal image quality, and color accuracy may suffer. The Galaxy S22 series alleviates these issues with Samsung Vision Booster technology.

The technology analyzes ambient brightness levels, then remaps the tones of the image while readjusting the screen’s brightness to maintain color accuracy even in very bright areas.
