The Weibo user @Daishuirenhui, who is certified as a “Tesla Roof Rights Defender”, wrote:

Last year today (the tenth day of Chinese New Year), my Tesla Model 3 had an accident. I started my advocacy career. A full year has passed by today.

Various complaints to the State Administration for Market Regulation and consumer associations. Even under the circumstance that @cityshuoxinyu clearly ordered Tesla to provide complete data directly and unconditionally, I still did not get the complete background data of my vehicle. Without data, it is impossible to test and identify a true and accurate test and identification result.

Judicial proceedings were launched in May and July last year, respectively. And on December 24 last year, @Anyang Beiguan District People’s Court heard the case publicly.

In the new year, I will continue to defend my rights.

April 19 last year, at the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show, a female car owner appeared at the Tesla booth and stood on the roof to defend her rights. The T-shirt had the words “brake failure” written on it and shorted Tesla. The brakes failed and he was forcibly dragged away from the scene by security.

On December 24 last year, Ms. Tesla’s “roof protection” female car advocate sued Tesla for a dispute over the right of reputation in the Beiguan District People’s Court of Anyang City, Henan Province. It is understood that the case was not pronounced in court.

Ms. Zhang claimed that Tesla was involved in four infringements. It is worth mentioning that Tesla also filed a lawsuit against her, demanding an apology and compensation of 5 million yuan for her reputational loss.

In January of this year, Ms. Zhang said that the “unreasonable appeal” Tao Lin had previously said was abandoned on March 6, and her biggest appeal after that was to hope that Tesla could provide complete data on the vehicle at the time of the incident.
