Are there still significant differences when it comes to the battery life of the top smartphone models? Yes, at least from loser to winner. It is not particularly easy to give a general assessment of the battery life of a smartphone.
This may work in everyday life, but everyone lives differently and uses their cell phone differently. In addition, WLAN and mobile communications play a major role when it comes to the permanent load on the battery. You can at least roughly orientate yourself by looking at various comparison tests.
Apple can always surprise
Techdroider recently compared the latest models to date. Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro, Google Pixel 6 Pro, Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max and so on. And what did that show? The smartphone with the smallest battery achieved the best runtime. The oven was off the fastest with the Xiaomi models. The current Google phone only has to admit defeat against Samsung and Apple.
Android will probably never be as good as iOS. But we have hope that Google will now make decent progress with its own processor in the coming years.
