Both the Galaxy S22 and S22+ models have slightly reduced battery capacity compared to their predecessors. Even so, Samsung is expected to try to maintain the battery life of the new machine through more efficient hardware. Recently, Android Police editor-in-chief Daniel Bader shared a set of data charts on Twitter, showing that the Galaxy S22 smartphone has around 5 hours of screen time.
While not as impressive, it’s not too bad considering the change in battery capacity of the Galaxy S22 compared to the Galaxy S21 models (3700 vs 4000). In addition, there is a similar difference between the Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S21 Plus models (4500 vs 4800 mAh).
So I’ve been using the small Galaxy S22 since Thursday and it hasn’t made it past 11pm once. 4.5 hours SoT yesterday, just over 5 hours today. Not Pixel 4 bad but still not encouraging. pic.twitter.com/9f6o8DEm9y

It should be noted that this result was achieved in an indoor use environment, where 95% of the time was connected to a Wi-Fi network. For the majority of consumers, the more practical way to test battery life is to switch to 5G data mode outdoors to see how fast battery consumption will be accelerated.
