Recall that this is the app designed by the Mountain View giant to allow users to configure, manage and control their Google Nest, Google Wifi, Google Home and Chromecast devices, as well as thousands of compatible smart home devices (such as lights, cameras, thermostats, etc.), in order to have your home under control (including its safety).

And so among the main features of the Google Home app we find the possibility to create routines to turn on the lights, check the weather, listen to the news, all with a simple command.

Furthermore, the app also allows you to watch all the audio and video streams active on your compatible home devices from a single location, adjust the relative playback volume, switch to the next content, or quickly change the speakers in operation.

What’s new in Google Home app 2.48.1.9 for Android

This new version of the application improves the experience of managing associated Android TV devices thanks to a system based on a D-pad or a sliding interface.

In addition, with this release of the app, small visual changes are introduced to the Google Wifi usage statistics (the data relating to kbps are moved to the lower corners of each graph and are slightly larger for better readability while the buttons have been reorganized). Finally, there is no lack of resolution of some bugs found in previous releases and an overall improvement in the stability of the application.
