On February 17, technology media SamMobile tested the charging speed of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with 25W and 45W chargers respectively. The results show that although the overall charging speed of the 45W charger is faster, it is not too far behind the 25W charger, and the performance is disappointing.
SamMobile found that in 20 minutes, the Galaxy S22 Ultra can be charged to 45% with a 45W charger, 39% with a 25W charger, and at 100%, the 25W charger takes 1 hour and 7 minutes, and the 45W charge takes 1 hour and 7 minutes. The device took 1 hour and 3 minutes, and the difference between the two was only 4 minutes.
At 1 hour and 3 minutes, the 45W charger is charged to 100% (top), and at 1 hour and 7 minutes, the 25W charger is charged to 100% (bottom)
In this regard, SamMobile said that given the speed difference between 45W and 25W chargers, it does not make sense to spend more money on 45W chargers.
The current price of Samsung’s 45W charger is $49.99 (about 316 yuan) , and the price of Samsung’s 25W charger is $19.99.
In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra uses a 6.8-inch 2K+ AM OLED full screen, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 flagship processor, up to 12GB of memory, and a 5000mAh battery.
At present, the Galaxy S22 Ultra National Bank version has been accepted for pre-order, and the price for early adopters is 10,199 yuan. The price for early adopters does not represent the final retail price. The final retail price will be announced on February 22.
