Today, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the latest award-winning Assassin’s Creed game, has opened its first free weekend event, available to all players through March 1 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Free to play on PS5, PS4 and PC platforms.
- The free weekend activities on each platform are as follows :
- PS5, PS4 and PC platforms: February 24th at 17:00 to March 1st at 3:00
- Xbox and Stadia: February 25th at 3:00 am to March 1st at 3:00 am
Note: This free weekend is not available on Xbox consoles and PC platforms for Japanese players.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla provides players with an engaging gaming experience, playing the role of the legendary Viking warrior Ivor, who was forced to flee Norway in the 9th century AD due to war and lack of resources.
Players can recreate the heroic fighting style of Viking warriors with a refreshed dual-wield combat system, including raids, sieges, settlement building, and a redesigned progression and equipment upgrade system. Political alliances, combat choices and dialogue options will affect the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, so players must make wise choices to protect their clan home and their future.
In addition, the next expansion of “Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla”, “Dawn of Doom”, will be released on March 10. Players who own the game body can go to the Ubisoft International Mall to buy “Dawn of Doom” separately.
Players can also choose to purchase the “Gods Ragnarok Edition” which includes the game itself and expansion content, or the digital full version that includes the game itself, the season pass, the Ultimate Expansion Pack, and Doomsday.
Developed by Ubisoft Sofia Studios, Doomsday is the latest expansion for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla for the second year in a row. In Doomsday, Eivor will embrace his destiny as the Norse god of battle and wisdom, Odin.
The dwarven kingdom of “Wat Alheim” is collapsing, and in the chaos, Odin’s son Bald is captured by the undead flame giant Surut. Players will embark on a desperate rescue mission in a contrasting mythical world, unleash new powers and continue their Viking saga.
From now until April 9, 2022, all players who purchase Doomsday will receive the Dawning Pack, which can be used immediately in the main game. This exclusive bonus content includes the “Dellinger Raven Skin”, “Supreme Patronus Lynx Mount”, “Twilight Outfit” and “Agneldan Clan Axe”.
Note: Immediate use is limited to purchasing or pre-ordering the digital version. For players who purchased or pre-ordered the physical edition, the “Dawn of Light Pack will be available after the release of Doomsday.
