Valve: It has tried its best to increase the battery capacity of the Steam Deck handheld

Valve designers Greg Coomer and Jay Shaw said in an interview that they did their best to fit a larger battery into a device of this size, but they also had other components to consider. When referring to the three versions of the handheld, they said they didn’t want to make the battery difference between the different versions, but mainly considered the difference in memory.

The three versions of Steam Deck have storage of 64GB, 256GB and 512GB respectively. Compared with the 64GB version, the 256GB and 512GB versions will have faster-loading speeds, especially the 512GB version.
