Google Authenticator for iOS: Improved multitasking properties

Many people are probably familiar with the free “Google Authenticator” app. It can be used to generate one-time passwords for accounts that are secured with two-factor authentication. Google has now carried out a small update on the iOS platform. One of the very few updates of the app, which only has 2.2 stars in the ratings.

The Google Authenticator 3.4.0 on the iPad can now be used better in multitasking so that codes can be transferred to a corresponding field via drag & drop when the app is on the split-screen. The Google Authenticator has not previously supported Split View or Slide Over on the iPad. Users had to copy the OTP password and then view the target app again to enter the OTP password

alternatives? If you don’t want to rely on functions within a password manager for security reasons, there are also Authy and the Microsoft Authenticator for iOS.
