There are still 2 days before Apple’s Peek Performance conference. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman mentioned in the Power On program that in addition to the new iPhone SE and iPad Air, Apple will also release a new Mac mini and a new external monitor.
On Friday, it was reported that Apple is working on a new 7K-resolution display, the Apple Studio Display. The display will be powered by the A13 Bionic chip with a resolution of up to 7K. Mark Gurman said that Apple has completed the development of the display, which may be shown at the conference next week, but the official release time will not be until a few months later.
The release of Apple’s Pro Display XDR is still in 2019, and no display products have been launched so far. Of course, the highlight of the Mac products at this launch is the M2 or M1 Pro Mac mini. Apple will also unveil a number of new Macs in the coming months, possibly in May or June.
