According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is planning a new function for groups: polls. This is quite popular in groups, but so far you always had to remember the answers (or use an external provider like Strawpoll via a link for this).
Group polls are certainly a feature that many are looking forward to. The indication for this is provided by the new beta for the iPhone, so it is still being worked on diligently and Meta has not yet confirmed that this function is coming.
However, hints in beta versions are not uncommon and WABetaInfo is a very good source for them. Speaking of what’s new for groups, there will be a new “Community” tab that will replace the camera tab below.

There you will then see all your groups in WhatsApp as a compact overview, these are often lost in the normal chats. I wouldn’t think that’s bad, because I don’t use the camera at all and actually just click on it accidentally.
