Apple will release new Mac Studio, iOS ecological display and other products

With more than ten hours left in Apple’s spring conference, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman broke the news that Apple will release a new series of Mac devices called Mac Studio tomorrow. A display that runs iOS.

Also, earlier today, YouTuber @Luke Miani shared a rendering of what he calls Mac Studio (below right below) and said Mac Studio is definitely released on Wednesday. From the picture, the Mac Studio uses the same square design as the current Mac mini, but it is only 4 inches in size and uses a new thermal design to assist in cooling.

Gurman tweeted that the Mac Studio and the new iOS-powered display are ready to go and that he believes the two devices will be launched at an event on March 8. Mac Studio can be thought of as a smaller Mac Pro, or a more powerful Mac mini. And this iOS display will have a built-in A-series chip.

Last week, we first heard the name Mac Studio from foreign media 9to5Mac, which foreign media described as a Mac mini and Mac Pro hybrid device, combined with previous revelations, we can think that Apple is developing a high-end Mac mini and a smaller Mac Pro, and these revelations appear to be combined into the same Mac Studio device.

The hybrid Mac Studio could replace the high-end Mac mini, it could be marketed as a smaller replacement for the Mac Pro, but it’s not expected to be as powerful as the Mac Pro, it is expected to have M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, and possibly more powerful The M1 Max version.

To accompany the Mac Studio, there are rumors that Apple has prepared a Studio Display. Miani says the Studio Display will be a 27-inch form factor with slightly larger bezels than the Pro Display XDR, and Gurman believes it will run iOS and have an A-series chip inside.

We also reported some rumors about some kind of display with a built-in A-series chip, but most friends would rather believe that this product will be the successor to the Pro Display XDR. However, judging from previous revelations, the monitor launching tomorrow will be more affordable than the $5,000 Pro Display XDR, so stay tuned.
