Hours before Apple’s March 8, 2022 launch event, he got details directly from a source in the Taiwanese supply chain. According to this unnamed source, the new iPhone SE will remain priced at the same $399 as the current model.
He also claimed that the new iPhone SE has the following details:
- A15 processor
- 4GB RAM
- MagSafe
- Ceramic Shield Reinforced Screen
- Unspecified battery capacity increase, but range increase will be noticeable
- Unspecified camera improvements, but should not involve increasing the number of sensors.
The leak also hints that the new iPhone SE will retain the screen size and Touch ID of the 2020 model, which is definitely good news for those who prefer fingerprint recognition.
