We already know that diehard four-wheeler purists will dislike the video on the page, yet Elon Musk has created a powerful SUV at the extreme, with three high-performance electric motors. So why not try the Model X Plaid next to a Lamborghini Huracàn EVO?
This is the fastest production Lamborghini of the moment, as well as the second most powerful car Tesla has on the list today (the first is the Model S Plaid which performs better thanks to better aerodynamics and slightly lower weight), as well as the fastest SUV in the world right now. On paper, we have 1,020 HP of the American electric against the 640 of the Italian beast, but weights and structures are very different, so it is really interesting to see these two monsters compete on the asphalt.
The Model X Plaid in fact weighs 2,445 kg, the Huracàn EVO 1,600. Even if it doesn’t seem like it, the two cars are incredibly similar when you look at the weight/power ratio: we have 2.4 kg per horse with the Model X Plaid, 2.5 kg per horse with the Huracàn EVO.
