Elden Ring: Discovering the Tomb of The Hero, here’s how to take down the chariot

Within the Sepulcris area there are so many mysteries to unravel, but also enemies to take down: if you have accumulated enough Stone Sword Keys in Elden Ring, there is a place you may want to visit.

Do you remember when your Lightless woke up in an area called the Abandoned Cemetery? Right next to the relevant Place of Grace, there is a wall of fog, which can only be overcome by using two Stone Sword Keys. By placing them in the small statue of two gargoyle-like creatures, your character can gain access to the new area.

The latter, called the Hero’s Tomb, opens with a poisonous swamp. To overcome it, however, it is sufficient to proceed with a determined run: the extension is not too long and with a final leap you may be able to avoid running into the poisoning. On reaching the mainland, the Senzaluce faces a long corridor, manned by a threatening Rotating Cart, which covers its entire width.

To overcome the obstacle, a little timing is all it takes. Along the two corridors along which the object moves, there are in fact several niches, within which to take refuge to avoid being overwhelmed. Within some of these, ghosts are hidden, which however can be silenced with a few swipes of the sword. But the more enterprising Lightless might be interested in the possibility of finally demolishing the dangerous instrument guarding the Tomb of the Hero.

Defeating the Rotating Chariot is indeed possible, but to succeed the protagonist must equip himself with a bow, arrows – preferably on fire – and a lot of patience.. After pulling the chariot into the second corridor, players can place themselves in the transition area between the two straights. Positioning yourself in the corner facing the second corridor, in fact, you will not risk being hit by the crazy rotating instrument. From here, using a bow and arrow, you can try to hit large cauldron-like spheres hanging from the ceiling. To support them, it is in fact a simple cable, which can be cut by a well-shot arrow. Using the flaming arrows can make the task easier, because they illuminate the path, better revealing the presence of the rope. Calculating the times well, the more skilled Lightless will be able to hit the Chariot with the falling objects.

Once the Chariot is destroyed, players will be rewarded with a special drop: the Heavy Bow of the Mother Tree and ten Big Arrows. As can be easily guessed, this is a particularly valuable bow, which will certainly be useful to archers traveling to the Elden Ring Interregnum.
