We know, Elden Ring is tough, on par with FromSoftware’s other titles like Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro. But is there an option to lower the difficulty and make Elden Ring easier?
The answer to this question is unfortunately negative, you cannot change the difficulty of Elden Ring and FromSoftware has not thought of an easy mode for less experienced players. In this regard, on the contrary, Hidetaka Miyazaki has clarified that the difficulty is part of FromSoftware’s DNA and there is no reason to give up this feature, therefore Elden Ring does not have an easy difficulty level and this will not be added in the future via an update, thus maintaining a clear and precise identity in line with the other productions of the Japanese studio.
