Google adds battery indicator to live display on Pixel phones

Google is bringing another early-discovered feature to Pixel Launcher’s Live View (At a Glance). It seems like a very small improvement that Google only casually mentioned in a video. However, I find it really useful that Google is now officially adding a battery indicator to the Pixel Launcher’s live display.

It shows the battery status of connected Bluetooth devices. What, for example, your headphones can be. Practical: Google offers this display on the start screen and also on the lock screen.

Also new is that there is a single widget for the battery of connected Bluetooth devices from Android 12.1 (12L), but of course, this is no longer available on the lock screen. Being able to take a look at the battery of connected devices via live display is therefore all the more practical.

In the past few weeks, the live display has already been expanded and a few innovations that are still to come have already surfaced.
