LilAggy, a well-known speedrunner in the FromSoftware gaming community, completed Elden Ring in under an hour, 59 minutes and 38 seconds to be exact, setting the current world record. In the player below you can fully admire this impressive feat.

Elden Ring has been available in stores for less than two weeks, with many players still exploring the initial Sepulcris region and yet to beat the game’s first “real” boss. Yet the race for the world record has already begun out there, with speedrunners digging into the game from top to bottom to discover new shortcuts and gimmicks to cut precious seconds.

Considering the sheer size of Elden Ring, 59 minutes to get to the end credits is an impressive time, but for LilAggy, it can be done even better. “Obviously it’s not perfect, but it’s not bad for a twelve-day-old game,” says the speedrunner.
