According to the latest reports, Microsoft today confirmed a technical update to Steam Deck, confirming that a number of Xbox studio games can run smoothly on this handheld.
The games that have been verified so far include Death Loop, Brain Navigator 2, The Evil Within, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Predation, etc. Games marked as playable include: Sea of Thieves, Fallout 4, FZ Horizon 4, FZ Horizon 5, Quantum Shatter, and more.
However, the official also announced that some of the current studio’s works: Gears of War 5, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Halo: Infinite and Microsoft Flight Simulation are not yet supported on the Steam Deck platform due to the anti-cheat system.
Microsoft’s list only includes Xbox Game Studios titles that are currently on Steam, but players can now install Windows on the Steam Deck to access Xbox Game Pass games. Valve recently announced the Windows driver, so players can choose to switch to Windows on the Steam Deck.
