On the night of last Friday, in the Tesla Delivery Center in Weiterstadt, numerous cars waiting to be delivered to their rightful owners were victims of the oppression of a probable group of thieves. A total of twelve cars have been affected, and for their owners, the wait is bound to be prolonged.
According to what was declared by the local police, the thieves have stolen the wheels of six vehicles, therefore a total of 24 rims with their tires equipped, to which must be added the theft of aerodynamic wheel covers taken from 5 other vehicles. Finally, the last car was found with the panoramic roof destroyed.
The theft was reported by the user ” S Tesla ” of the TTF-forum, who had gone there to look for his car when he realized what had happened. The cars affected are all Tesla Model 3 and Model Y (by the way, here you can read our test drive of the Tesla Model Y ) and were in fact in an area dedicated to ready-to-deliver cars which apparently did not have any fences. or another form of security.
Authorities are looking for eyewitnesses, but it seems that the area is not particularly busy, especially in the evening, so one can only hope for surveillance cameras, if there were any nearby.
