Blizzard has announced Hearthstone: The Sunken City, the first 2022 expansion of its popular card game, available for PC and mobile systems. The package, consisting of 135 new cards, already has an official release date: April 12, 2022.

What’s lurking beneath the surface?
Players will join an intrepid group of explorers on an expedition to the ancient city of Zin-Azshari, lost in the waves over 10,000 years ago. New adventurers and veterans alike will experience a beautiful but terrifying world as they utilize deck-changing abilities and powerful new cards to use in battle against fearsome new minions, all to survive in the Sunken City!
A new type of minion: Naga – Destroyed by their thirst for power and cursed for eternity, the vengeful naga is a new type of minion coming with this expansion and will become a permanent addition to Hearthstone. Nagas are skilled minions with Spells that often give you bonuses when you play one or more Spells from your hand.
New Skill: Dredging – Isn’t that hateful, when the only card you need is right at the bottom of the deck? Now no longer! Dredging is a new ability that allows you to look at the bottom three cards of your deck and pick one to put on top. You can combine the Dredging cards with the new Azshara cards that place a powerful “Submerged” card at the bottom of your deck. Whether it’s a sunken treasure, your new Legendary card, or a perfectly timed Spell, Dredging can give you what you need.
New Ability: Colossus – The depths of the ocean are home to many immense monsters, unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. These giant creatures are too big to fit on one card! Colossus minions appear with additional appendages that work in synergy with the main card in a number of ways. These appendages are summoned along with the main card, even when the Colossus minion has not been played from the hand.
