343 confirmed that Halo Infinite had anti-cheat technology at launch. Just as Activision used Ricochet technology in Call of Duty: Warzone, 343 used its own proprietary anti-cheat solution in Halo: Infinite: Arbiter.
343 wrote in its latest blog:
“The first clarification we want to provide is: yes, Halo Infinite launched with its own proprietary anti-cheat system, which we call Arbiter.
The main reason why we haven’t discussed Arbiter or anti-cheat much publicly before this is mainly because the more details we provide on the anti-cheat system, the more information we’ll provide directly to cheat developers and cheat players. So we want to keep it as secret as possible, as long as possible. ”
343 also confirmed that they are also working on an internal reporting system for Halo Infinite.
