The team of developers of the Google Home app continues to work on improving this popular solution for managing smart home devices and, in addition to a new grid, we told you about a few days ago, has introduced important news regarding privacy management.
This was announced by the same team of the Mountain View giant through a message posted on Twitter, specifying that the privacy settings can be considered as a new centralized place to help users to know and manage data on their home activities, as well as to review and adjust the various options available.
How the new privacy center on the Google Home app works
To access this new section dedicated to privacy, touch the settings button (the gear icon at the top) and look for the last item in the General list. Once you have entered the section dedicated to privacy, it will be possible to take advantage of a whole series of features, such as the link to view the devices that can detect the presence of someone in the house, the ability to remove data relating to WiFi and home address with a touch, the display of your activities (and the ability to delete them), the ability to view and delete data related to Google Assistant.
Rolling out in the Google Home app this week:

Finally, at the bottom, this section shows links to the support pages for some of the features that users can take advantage of with the relative explanations, such as the control of privacy on devices shared with the guest mode, the deletion of Google activities. Assistant, the Google Nest sensor guide, the privacy information of Google and its various devices.
The Mountain View giant has specified that the release of this new section is scheduled for this week and the first users have already received it (it may require version 2.49.1.8 of the application). You can download the latest versions of the Google Home app for Android from APK Mirror ( find the dedicated page here ) or from the Google Play Store.
