Heirlooms are the most expensive and rarest items in Apex Legends, and 12 of the 18 characters in the game currently have their own heirlooms. Many fans are still eagerly waiting for when their favorite characters will appear on the owned list.
According to recent leaks, Secret and Valkyrie players may not have to wait much longer. According to leaks, Apex Legends Seasons 12 and 13 will feature heirlooms for the two characters, respectively.
The Secret Heirloom has leaked a number of images some time ago, but a video accompanying a Reddit post posted today (March 23) shows off its various animated moves. The same video also shows the currently undeveloped Valkyrie Heirloom, which looks like a traditional Japanese spear/trident and shrinks into a single blade when stabbed. However, the heirloom texture has not been made, and there is no unique animation.
The post states that the Valkyrie Heirloom will be part of the game’s 13th season. The next season is still a long time away, so there may be some changes in between.
Based on past experience, Secret Heirlooms will also be launched along with the limited-time collection event. The next collectible event is called “Warrior”, and players can acquire heirlooms by purchasing and opening a sufficient number of chests. The developer and operator Respawn Entertainment has not yet announced the opening time of the event.
