Sony PlayStation updated PS5 today, March 23, 2022. In addition to the update for the console, a new update for the PlayStation 5 controller was also shared: the DualSense. However, some users are reporting problems with DualSense after installing the update.
Reports are made directly to the Ask PlayStation UK account on Twitter. Some users wrote that, after the update, it is impossible to connect the DualSense with the PS5. Regardless of the connection method, whether it is via USB or wireless, the controller is only able to connect for a few seconds and then stops working.
According to what some users have indicated, even by carrying out the operations suggested by the official PlayStation support, it is impossible to make the controller work. A user claims to have solved the problem but does not explain how he was able to solve it, unfortunately.
After this update, I can no longer pair my dualsense.
I rebooted in safe mode, updated from USB, connected dualsense via wire. Worked for a few seconds then lost connection again and I couldn’t select anything.
Reseting the dualsense on the back does not work.. Any help Sony?

The number of reports of PS5’s DualSense problems is not huge (there are many more reports of PS Plus recognition problems), but in any case, it seems that today’s update has created various problems.
If the problem turns out to be larger than expected, Sony would probably release a new update for the PS5’s DualSense. Waiting for news, we remind you that you can find the details of the PlayStation 5 update here.
