A few days after the announcement of the new expansion of World of Warcraft, Blizzard Entertainment may have fooled itself with its own hands.
The development company unwittingly released the first information on the expansion through the source code of the official website. These details are theoretically invisible to normal web surfers, but Blizzard has evidently underestimated the managers of Wowhead, who miss absolutely nothing.
According to the information found in the code strings, the next expansion of World of Warcraft will be called Dragonflight and will be sold in three different editions – Basic, Heroic and Epic. Wowhead found numerous references to dragon-inspired items and even an amount called the Green Dragon.
The latter could represent an incentive to purchase one of the two most expensive editions of the expansion. The code also includes a link to the dragonflight.blizzard.com site, which is predictably inactive at the moment.
We will find out more details in two weeks, on April 19 to be exact, when the new expansion of World of Warcraft will be officially presented.
