The well-known videogame analyst Benji-Sales discussed on social networks the possible implications of the new, great Xbox Series X restock reported in the United States, Canada and Mexico in the second half of last month.
Reconnecting to the news on the massive supply of Microsoft’s nextgen consoles, the analyst says he is impatient to receive the NPD data of March to receive a definitive confirmation (or denial) to what emerged from the preliminary information of the e-commerce sites and the most important commercial chains of North America.
Lot of retail evidence Microsoft shipped an enormous amount of Xbox Series X consoles in March in the US to close out the Quarter
Looking forward to March NPD Data. We could (potentially) be looking at one of the biggest Xbox March results ever rivaling Xbox 360 back in 2011 pic.twitter.com/eTUfVFi2qX

According to Benji-Sales, in fact, the placing on the market of an important supply of Xbox Series X, combined with the higher availability of Xbox Series S (which, requiring fewer hardware components, is easier to produce), could have marked a record for monthly sales of Microsoft consoles.
As the analyst himself explains, testimonials from retail chains reporting a major Xbox Series X to restock in the US could potentially record one of the best results ever achieved by Microsoft consoles in March, with data that could rival the record of Xbox 360 sold in March 2011.
However, we will have definitive confirmation only at the publication of the NPD Group data on hardware and software sales recorded in March in North America.
