Facebook has updates for Reels, its TikTok-style short video platform. So it’s now easier to push videos from external apps to reels. App developers can now include a Reels button for sharing videos.
Depending on the app, this should also prevent you from having to upload and then download a video again in order to forward it to Reels from another application.
According to Meta, reels are currently the fastest-growing content format on Facebook. I myself have no interest in the short videos, but apparently, there is a larger target group. The first partners for simplified sharing are Smule, Vita, and VivaVideo. All of these providers now integrate direct sharing with Facebook Reels.
