the following is the full update:

  • Added improvements to the Secure Boot component of Windows.
  • Fixed an issue that caused AppX Deployment Services (AppXSvc) to stop working after installing certain MSIX apps.
  • fixed a race condition that occurred early in the startup process that could lead to a stop error.
  • Improved Autopilot clients to handle updated Trusted Platform Module (TPM) functionality to support self-deployment and preconfiguration scenarios.
  • Change the timeout period for Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) registration from 60 minutes to 90 minutes for hybrid Azure AD-joined Autopilot scenarios. This also resolves a race condition that causes an exception when timeouts occur.
  • fixed an issue that delayed operating system startup by approximately 40 minutes.
  • Fixed a memory leak issue on Windows systems.
  • FIXED AN ISSUE THAT AFFECTED DYNAMIC HOST CONFIGURATION PROTOCOL (DHCP) OPTION 119 (DOMAIN SEARCH LIST) BY BLOCKING THE USE OF CONNECTION-SPECIFIC DNS SUFFIX SEARCH LISTS.
  • Fixed an issue where the Edge browser affected the Title property in IE mode.
  • Fixed an issue where upgrading to Enterprise Edition of Windows Enterprise with Azure AD Join subscription rights did not allow mobile device management (MDM) policies.
  • fixed an issue that could cause video subtitles to be partially truncated.
  • fixed an issue where video subtitles were misaligned.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Kerberos authentication to fail with the error “0xc0030009 (RPC_NT_NULL_REF_POINTER)”. This occurs when a client computer tries to connect to another computer by using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) when Remote Credential Protection is enabled.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Windows to enter BitLocker recovery after a service update.
  • FIXED AN ISSUE THAT PREVENTED THE RETRIEVAL OF AN ENDORSEMENT KEY (EK) CERTIFICATE FROM THE TPM DEVICE.
  • fixes an issue where the security portion of group policy might not be copied to the computer.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Microsoft RDP client controls (version 11 and later) from being instantiated in the Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) dialog box.
  • the temperature is displayed at the top of the weather icon on the taskbar.
  • fixed an issue that prevented users from using the minimize, maximize, and close buttons on the maximized application window. this issue occurs because the input focus stays on the notification hub.
  • Fixed an issue that might occur when a user used the Netdom.exe or Active Directory Domain and Trust snap-in to list or modify name suffix routes. The error message is “Insufficient system resources to complete the requested service”. This issue occurs after you install the January 2022 security update on the primary domain controller emulator (PDCe).
  • FIX AN ISSUE THAT CAUSES THE PRIMARY DOMAIN CONTROLLER (PDC) OF THE ROOT DOMAIN TO GENERATE WARNING AND ERROR EVENTS IN THE SYSTEM LOG. THIS ISSUE OCCURS WHEN THE PDC INCORRECTLY TRIES TO SCAN FOR OUTGOING TRUST ONLY.
  • Fixed an issue that occurred when mapping a network drive to a Server Message Block version 1 (SMBv1) share. After restarting the operating system, the user will not be able to access the network drive.
  • FIXED AN ISSUE THAT AFFECTED SMB MULTICHANNEL CONNECTIONS AND COULD GENERATE 13A OR C2 ERRORS.
  • FIXED AN ISSUE THAT CORRUPTED POOLS WHEN THE CLIENT-SIDE CACHE (CSC) CLEANUP METHOD COULD NOT DELETE RESOURCES THAT HAD ALREADY BEEN CREATED.
  • fixed an issue that could cause server lockups because the nonpaged pool grew and ran out of all memory. after the restart, the same problem recurs when the user tries to repair the corruption.
  • REDUCES THE OVERHEAD OF RESOURCE CONTENTION IN HIGH INPUT/OUTPUT OPERATIONS PER SECOND (IOPS) SCENARIOS WHERE MANY THREADS COMPETE ON A SINGLE FILE.
