Collaborating with others while using Word is an important productivity tool for many users, and disruption can be frustrating. We have now developed an improved recovery experience that allows users to quickly revert to a connected state after encountering a co-authoring error. This automatic refresh syncs all the changes between different authors, so you always see the most recent files. Conflicts between different authors and changes that are not saved to the server will be displayed as tracked changes.
Microsoft also released a new update for Office Insiders on the Beta channel. The update includes an improved recommendation of PivotTables, which will make the overall experience better and smarter. You can learn more about the update here.
Office Insiders on Mac also received some new features with new Office updates. The new Auto Refresh Stock Quotes feature automatically updates each time you open the file, and every five minutes thereafter. You can learn more about the update here.
