After the exposure of the real watch wearing picture yesterday, the Pixel Watch recently appeared on the Bluetooth SIG website, indicating that Google’s wearable watch is about to be released. The certification is “GWT9R”, “GBZ4S” and “GQF4C”, all marked as “BT Wearable Design-Subsystem Controller”.
While it’s possible that these models represent different variants of the same device, it’s unclear whether these differences relate to size, regional availability, or support for connectivity features such as cellular data.
The FCC certification is expected to be upcoming, which could provide new information about the Pixel Watch. The Google I/O conference will begin in a few weeks, and we may hear some news about Google’s new smartwatch, even if it heralds a preview later this year.
