Google is again giving its own car app a fresh update, the previous beta phase of Android Auto 7.6 is thus over. In the past few days, it had already been indicated that the latest version of Android Auto also brings a new function to our devices. Whereby the provision of the smart answer suggestions should not be so much dependent on a specific app version.
Fundamentally, the problem is once again that Google does not maintain a changelog for Android Auto well. So with the latest update, nothing has changed in the fact that the changelog advertises functions that are already several months old as “new”. Nevertheless, it could be that the new quick answers are now introduced with version 7.6 final for all users of Android Auto.
With the new function, it is possible that you can choose from up to two predefined short replies to incoming messages from chat apps. And of course, it is still possible to dictate a completely separate answer. A suggested response may also include only emojis that match the message received.
