In appearance, the earmuffs of the Sony WH-1000XM5 are not as angular as the previous generation, but the thicker earpads will make it more comfortable to wear and achieve better sealing and sound insulation.
There is also a big change in appearance. The WH-1000XM5 cancels the telescopic and foldable headband design, but the earmuffs can be turned to be flatly stuffed into the storage box.
From the packaging information, the WH-1000XM5 is expected to achieve 30 hours of battery life, but it should be achieved by turning on ANC/active noise reduction.
