Steam Deck game scale tracking: 1289 certified games and 1169 games to play

Valve’s Steam Deck currently runs smoothly with over 1200 certified games. This game has more than doubled the size of the game console when it first launched. In addition, there are nearly 1200 games that can be played normally, but there are some small problems, as long as they are repaired, they can pass the certification.

Boiling Steam keeps track of the number of games that can be played on Steam Deck. Since the console’s launch on February 25, the numbers show that Steam has been verifying playable games and making tweaks to the operating system to ensure more games run flawlessly on the device.

At launch, there were only about 350 games on Steam Deck guaranteed to work from day one. Another 300 or so are considered playable but have issues – many simply because they are designed for keyboard and mouse input. It’s not a bad start, but with thousands of games on Steam, Steam Deck barely touches a fraction of its game library.

As of today, there are currently 1289 games that work perfectly, and 1169 more games to play (with minor issues). That’s quite a step up, and those numbers will only increase over time as Steam tests more games and makes further tweaks to Deck’s software.
