The new video of Season 13 of Apex Legends is entirely dedicated to Newcastle, its narrative background and the skills that will characterize the new Legend arriving in the now imminent ingame phase Saviors of the battle royale shooter from Respawn and Electronic Arts.
The new Vignette Trailer describes Newcastle as the protector of the weak and champion of Harris Valley: few, however, know the character and the painful past of the man behind the mask. His iron will protect the people of Harris Valley will be reflected in his purely defensive style of play and, with it, in the roster of skills and tactics to show off against other Apex Games contentendants.
So here’s a quick overview of the skills of EA’s 21st Battle Royale Legend:
- Salvation Anchor (Passive): Using his Wrist Resuscitator Shield, Newcastle can protect himself and his companion from incoming fire while reviving and rescuing his ally
- Deployable Shield (Tactical): Newcastle creates a floating energy shield that adapts to the ever-changing fighting fronts of the battlefield, whether it’s advancing the line, covering a retreat, or turning the shield to defend against a sudden flank strike
- Fortress (Ultimate): Pulling his signature shield from his back, Newcastle leaps into action and slams the shield to the ground activating the construction of a huge fortress
The departure of the ingame phase of Apex Legends Saviors is scheduled for the increasingly upcoming May 10 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.
