As expected, Google took advantage of the 2022 edition of Google I / O to officially present the Google Pixel 6a, the expected new mid-range smartphone from the Mountain View giant.
Recall that among the main features of the new Google phone we find a 6.1-inch OLED display with Full HD + resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), a Google Tensor GS101 processor, 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128 GB of integrated memory (with UFS 2.2 technology), an optical scanner for fingerprint recognition integrated into the display, two stereo speakers, 5G support and a 4,400 mAh battery (with support for fast charging at 18 W).
As for the photographic sector, Google Pixel 6a can count on an 8 megapixel (f / 2.0) Sony IMX355 sensor frontally while on the back we find a double camera with 12.2 megapixels Sony IMX363 primary sensor (f / 1.7, dual pixels PDAF and OIS) and a 12 megapixel Sony IMX386 ultra wide-angle sensor (f / 2.2).
What do we know about the Google Pixel 6a cases
As for accessories, it seems that Google has decided to offer users the opportunity to buy “classic” plastic cases, made in various colors to match the color of the phone while less “common” alternatives should not be marketed, such as those in fabric (particularly appreciated by many users).
According to what is learned, the Google Pixel 6a covers have been developed with the aim of highlighting the design of the smartphone, while protecting the device from any bumps. The Google Pixel 6a cases will also be built using partly recycled plastic and their official price should be around $ 30 (which could become $ 30 in Europe).
