You can already use static and dynamic backgrounds for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S dashboards. While you can also choose your own static background images, you are dependent on ready-made alternatives for the dynamic counterparts. However, that could change soon.
According to a tweet from colleagues in Italy, Microsoft is working on an editor that you could then use to create your own dynamic backgrounds via the Xbox mobile app or directly on the console.
Let’s wait and see if and when that really happens. So far, Microsoft has unfortunately remained silent on this subject. Would you make use of this function?
