OnePlus is planning a new presentation event reserved for the European market that will lead to the debut of the new OnePlus Nord 2T and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite as well as the OnePlus Nord Buds earphones the moment, OnePlus has already made it official, in India, the Nord CE 2 Lite and the Nord Buds while the Nord 2T appeared briefly online, with AliExpress confirming its specifications, subsequently confirmed by a hands-on video that appeared on Youtube.
Today, awaiting the official presentation, the new OnePlus Nord 2T and Nord CE 2 Lite return to the front page thanks to a new leak that confirms the European prices of the two smartphones. As we will see, the rumors provided by WinFuture do not represent a particular surprise. The two new smartphones will be positioned in the lower part of the OnePlus range. Here are the full details:
OnePlus Nord 2T will be the successor of the Nord 2, at least for the price
Let’s start with the new OnePlus Nord 2T. The smartphone, according to today’s rumors, will arrive on the market with a starting price of around 400 euros. This is the same launch price of the OnePlus Nord 2 8/128 GB that arrived on the market last year and a slightly higher price than that of the recent OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, available in Italy starting from 359 euros (always in the 8/128 GB variant). The future OnePlus Nord 3, therefore, will start from a probably higher price list than its predecessor.
The smartphone will be able to count on a 6.43-inch diagonal display with an AMOLED panel with Full HD + resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. The display will be protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone can count on the SoC MediaTek Dimensity 1300 supported by 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage. There will also be a 4,500 mAh battery with 80 W fast charging support. The photographic compartment will include a triple rear camera with a 50 Megapixel main sensor.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite: new entry-level from 300 euros
Let’s now move on to the new OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, intended to occupy a lower range than the Nord 2T, becoming the new entry-level of the OnePlus range. According to the first rumors, its launch price will be 300 euros (probably 299 euros) for the basic variant (6/128 GB). The new smartphone will therefore position itself well below the Nord CE 2 5G which, as previously pointed out, starts at 359 euros.
As for the technical specifications, the new OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite can count on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and on a 6.59-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging, a side fingerprint sensor and a triple rear camera with a 64 Megapixel main sensor.
All the details on the new OnePlus smartphones will arrive with the official presentation on May 19th. We just have to wait a few days to find out more. Sales are expected to start by the end of May.
