Google’s new Pixel products: Pixel 6a, Pixel Watch, Pixel Buds, Pixel 7 and the Pixel Tablet – what comes when?

Last week, fans of the Pixel brand had a lot of new products in their luggage, which unfortunately all have one thing in common: they are not yet available and will only appear in the next few weeks, months, or even years. So that you can get an overview and take a look at the future Pixel portfolio, we summarize all known release dates of the announced Pixel products here.

Google created the “Pixel” brand five and a half years ago and started it with smartphones, which were not the best in many a past generation. There were times when there was even talk of saying goodbye to the pixel smartphones, but this was probably never seriously discussed outside of the media and within the group. We’re miles away from that now because the portfolio is growing and Google is building up an ever-growing product family.

Exactly one week ago, many products were announced, all of which are unfortunately not yet available. Neither the products that are close in time nor those that are a little further away can be pre-ordered in any way. That will soon change, at least for the products planned for summer, but devices were also shown that are no longer to be expected this year. Because some information was not immediately available or has been lost, you will find a quick overview here.

In the following shortlist you can see which product is on the calendar and when. The data is very rough and at least for the Pixel 6a and Pixel Buds Pro, the data given for the US market should also apply in Germany. With all the others, one has only staked out the period anyway, without naming a specific date.

  • Pixel 6a: Available for pre-order from July 21st, available from July 28th for 459 euros
  • Pixel Buds Pro: Available for pre-order from July 21st, available from July 28th for €219
  • Pixel Watch: Coming in October
  • Pixel 7 & Pixel 7 Pro: Coming in October
  • Pixel Tablet: Released in 2023, no specific date was given
  • Google Glass successor: It will probably not appear before the end of 2023, more likely in 2024
