Today, in addition to iOS 15.6, and macOS 12.5 developer preview Beta, Apple also released iTunes Windows version 12.12.4 update, adding security fixes to the new version to address vulnerabilities.
According to the security support document of iTunes for Windows, the new version of iTunes includes fixes for AppleGraphicsControl, ImageIO, Mobile Device Services, WebKit and other issues.
Apple didn’t mention that the vulnerability was discovered in the wild, but Windows users should still update iTunes to the latest version whenever possible. There are no other notable changes in iTunes 12.12.4, focusing on low-level improvements.
Users who do not have iTunes installed can download the iTunes (Windows 10 or later) app from the Microsoft Store, or download the latest version of iTunes from the Apple website.
