A few days ago, Google made a big promise to finally do more for Android tablets again. This is underlined with the first app update for Google Lens. According to their own statements, they want to better align well over 20 Google apps for tablets. Means: Multitasking should be significantly better in many of the Google apps. But it doesn’t stop there.
For Google’s Lens app, the new update primarily means that it can be used in a horizontal view. What you need less on the phone is all the more practical on a large tablet screen. Google is currently rolling out the new view in the beta version of the Google app and will soon be launching it on the app’s stable channel as well.
