The Genshin Impact YouTube channel has released a new Character Demo Trailer starring Yelan, the new playable character that will debut in the game tomorrow with the launch of Update 2.7.
The movie presents a mix of cinematic and gameplay sequences with the aim of introducing the character and his fighting style, all accompanied by a particularly apt musical accompaniment in Jazz sauce.
Yelan is a 5-star unit of the Hydro type that fights with the bow and according to information previously shared by Hoyoverse is particularly suitable for the role of sub-DPS. Given the weapon used, his standard attacks hit from a distance, while with the Elemental Skill he executes a sprint, short or long depending on how long the appropriate button is pressed, with all enemies in the trajectory being hit by an explosion of water.
The Elemental Burst instead activates an upgrade: every time a standard attack hits the unfortunate person, in turn, is hit by three water bullets that cause damage proportional to Yelan’s HP and also the active character on the field gains a damage bonus which increases over time.
