Every guild has announced that Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge will arrive on PC and mobile devices in 2023. You can see the trailer above. It is a new free-to-play digital card game set in the 41st millennium. Warpforge will bring together all the major factions of the Warhammer 40,000 universe in the form of digital cards that players can collect and play in “brutal and frantic skirmishes”.
In Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge, players will immerse themselves in the history of Warhammer 40,000 through single-player campaigns that will explore each of the warring factions. They will then fight in competitive modes, both in regular play and in limited-time competitions with unique rules of engagement. The most competitive players will be able to take part in mass alliance wars.
From the steadfast armies of the Imperium to the corrupt forces of Chaos and the myriad of Xenos races, each faction will be characterized by very different play styles and tactics. At the time of publication, some of the more well-known armies will be featured, while the expansions will bring other armies and races into battle over time.
