ASUS ROG (Republic of Gamers) has just announced the virtual event ROG Phone 6: For Those Who Dare, scheduled for Tuesday 5 July 2022, on the occasion of which it will unveil the next top-of-the-range gaming smartphone to the world.
The new ROG Phone 6 will feature a futuristic design and will be equipped with advanced cooling technologies that will keep Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC at bay, to guarantee gamers always top performance.
ASUS ‘ROG Phone 6 will arrive on July 5th
As anticipated at the beginning, the Taiwanese manufacturer ASUS has announced the virtual event ROG Phone 6: For Those Who Dare with which it will unveil its latest creation to the world, a gaming smartphone equipped with specifications and tricks of the highest level.
The ROG Phone 6, characterized by a totally renewed design ( some sketches of the smartphone were leaked in January), will in fact be the first gaming smartphone to bring to the market the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, kept at bay by a new cooling system that will allow gamers to bring out the maximum performance in every moment of the game session.
The smartphone will also be equipped with an ultra-fluid display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz (most likely it will be an AMOLED panel, as per tradition), excellent news for all smartphone gamers who could enjoy a competitive advantage.
Although these are only the specifications officially confirmed by ASUS itself, recent rumors suggest that the smartphone, successor to the ROG Phone 5s Pro presented in 2021, will have 18 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage space.
Although the photographic sector is not among the most important features in a gaming smartphone, ROG Phone 6, like its predecessor, should host three rear cameras. It seems obvious, however, that the smartphone arrives with the classic ROG UI custom interface onboard based, let’s imagine, on Android 12.
The details of the presentation event
The presentation event of the new smartphone, with the eloquent title ROG Phone 6: For Those Who Dare, will take place, exclusively online, on Tuesday 5 July 2022 at 2.00 pm (Italian time).
In addition to announcing the gaming smartphone par excellence, the Republic of ASUS Gamers will announce new accessories and new gaming headsets. Furthermore, the event will be an opportunity to attend a show match in which different influencers will compete against each other to test the performance of the new ROG Phone 6 series. At the beginning of the year, an indiscretion was leaked according to which ASUS would have presented a ROG Phone 6 and a ROG Phone 6 Pro: just wait for a little over a month to find out if there will be surprises or not.
