On Monday 6 June the Google developer team should kick off the release of the next highly anticipated update dedicated to the Google Pixel series smartphones and this is not a “normal” update but a Pixel Feature Drop, which is one of the updates that the giant of Mountain View releases quarterly, introducing several new features in addition to the inevitable security patches.
And it is precisely for this reason that the owners of Google Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a (5G), Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are eager to find out what the team of developers of the giant Mountain View has in store for them.

According to what emerged at the end of April, one of the features that could finally be implemented by the Google team is the facial unlocking system on Google Pixel 6 Pro, thus satisfying the numerous requests from users, which have become increasingly insistent in recent months.
It should be noted that, unlike Google Pixel 4, Google Pixel 6 Pro cannot rely on components dedicated to the facial unlocking system, whose operation will therefore be based exclusively on the front camera and on the algorithms developed by the Mountain View giant. , which will have to somehow make up for the lack of hardware that supports 3D.
Another novelty that could be introduced with the Pixel Feature Drop in June is represented by the return of the vibration mode icon, a feature that users will be able to enable and disable through a special switch.
Basically, this is a small novelty that will not revolutionize the user experience but, in any case, will improve it, as it will allow you to immediately find out if the phone will ring or just vibrate in the event of a call coming.
