Microsoft has released the June update for its Xbox consoles. A somewhat curious innovation is being introduced: the possibility of unmasking secret achievements, so to speak. You usually don’t know what achievement criteria you need to meet for those achievements.
Well, at least that’s the case if you’re not just doing some “newfangled” research on the web. Now, through the guide, it becomes possible to uncover what requirements you need to meet in order to get the secret achievements.
So you see the description, the Gamerscore and Co. Does that just seem meaningless to me? Then you could do away with the secret achievements entirely if the players can see what’s behind them at any time anyway.
You can uncover and cover up the secret achievements not only directly on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, but also in the Xbox app for Android and iOS or Windows and in the Game Bar on Windows PCs.
The June update is also intended to speed up the search for available updates for apps and games, which I really appreciate.
